Transfer / Transition Issues

Student transfer both at Key Stage 2-3 and Post-16 remain times of considerable fragility for students at-risk.

In our own national findings we have shown significant downturns in many pupil self concept and attitudinal areas at these crucial transition points.

Longitudinal impact evaluation of secondary transfer, charting changes in student attitudes and filtered by feeder primary schools, for example, remains one of the most effective ways of collaboratively identifying and sharing good practice across clusters of schools.

If you'd like to discuss the use of P.A.S.S. in promoting good transfer practice, simply phone or email a W3I consultant for more information.
