NESTA: The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts & their ‘Ignite' project - a programme for exceptionally creative young people.

Optimus Publishing : "Optimus Publishing was established in 1997 to provide schools with information based publications to support school management." It is a sub-division of Electric Word - "a mixed-media publishing company that specialises in education management, sports performance, health and funding".

Playing for Success : "The Department for Education and Skills Playing for Success initiative establishes out of school hours study support centres at football clubs and other sports' grounds.  The centres use the environment and medium of football, rugby and other sports as motivational tools, and focus on raising literacy, numeracy and ICT standards amongst KS2 and 3 pupils who are struggling a little and often de-motivated."

Skill Force : "Skill Force became a not for profit company on 1st April 2004. It is a uniquely successful scheme which enhances the life chances of young people. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Defence and the Department for Education and Skills. It uses the considerable experience and talents of former Service Personnel and others to deliver a range of inspirational and motivational activities to young people in about one hundred schools throughout the UK."
