"Just wanted to let you know that we are in our second year of using PASS with our students and I am constantly telling all of the other schools in my L.A. to start using it. We have used it with a high degree of success to identify students that are low in self esteem. Once identified we have worked on the SEAL skills of these students and we have also involved them all (43 were Red on the Self Regard Factor) in 3 different projects designed to improve their self regard – Boxing for boys, self defence for girls and a K9 project (working with dogs) with our KS3 students. We have seen marked improvements in all of them with the rate of exclusion being reduced and improved attendance.
