W3 Insights' Every Child Matters Community Survey

As a company with a proven track-record of developing products & services to promote genuine collaboration, including our award winning P.A.S.S. methodologies, W3 Insights is delighted to announce the launch of their latest online assessment instrument – The ECM+ Community Survey.

Why the “+” ? Because, for a long time we have advocated that the complexity of modern issues often results in a fragmentation of problem solving and a redundancy of solution implementation which can be downright harmful to the consumers of a public service.

The irony is that, with the potential for data integration that ICT provides, there remains the genuine possibility of shifting collaborative practice from “Knotworking” to genuine effective networking. The web has always provided an ideal medium to reflect the individual in terms of perspectives and personal choices.

High quality electronic assessment, analysis and the rapid 360 degree feedback that these technologies afford raise the public service bar significantly and synergistically. The “plus” from detailed digital data processing is extremely important, therefore, in addressing the issues underlying an agenda as important as Every Child Matters.

Specific ECM topics covered include pupil perspectives on:

  • Personal health, diet, drugs & sexual behaviour
  • Bullying, discrimination, feelings of safety by night & day, crime & community-based problems
  • Leisure & play amenities locally, enjoyment of school
  • Attitudes to the Police, knowledge of & involvement with the local community
  • Aspiration, future employment & personal transport.
